20 pages.

As a messenger of God, Gabriel is considered the patron saint of all aspects of communication, and is also one of the patrons of messengers and all people who relay information. In the hoodoo magical system, he can be called on to assist in matters of fertility and conception, and for help with dream interpretation and psychic matters. This pamphlet contains recipes for baths, mojo bags, and oils for working with the Archangel Gabriel, as well as an overview of his history and prayers and litanies to petition this most powerful saint.

One hundred and sixty years after its initial publication, Jake Stratton-Kent reinvigorates the ritual with a new analysis.

The Headless One
by Jake Stratton-Kent
28 pages

The ritual of the Headless One examined in this Guide has been one of the most important in modern magic for 160 years. Originating in the Magical Papyri, it was published by Charles Wycliffe Goodwin in 1852. It was swiftly adapted by the Golden Dawn and Aleister Crowley, forming the very core of their ritual arsenal. It has received more recent endorsement from the Temple of Set. The rite has borne various titles, such as the Bornless One, Liber Samekh, and the Preliminary Invocation. A key element of what is effective in modern magic, its ancient roots have long remained a closed book. Only a fraction of the papyri were available to the early revival, and long delays prevented later students investigating much further. That the ritual formed part of an important ‘genre’ within that ancient ritual corpus was a fact suspected by few. An important study of the ritual was published in 1991 by Jake Stratton-Kent in No.6 of the long out of print Equinox/BJT. This booklet is a comprehensively revised and updated expansion of that ground-breaking investigation of the ritual of the Headless One.

23 pages.

In a world that is increasingly hectic, it can be difficult to find the time to cultivate spiritual health; however, one must remember that like a garden, if left untended, our spirituality will wither from neglect. The spiritual bath offers a simple and effective way to tend that garden. This pamphlet offers recipes for baths, salt scrubs, and oils, along with corresponding candles, stones, and incense selections. The beauty of the recipes in this book is that with no more effort than a normal bath, you can incorporate spiritual heath into your routine.

The Glastonbury I Ching
by Simon Bastian
20 pages.

While acknowledging that the I Ching derives from an ancient civilization with a range of values and beliefs that were in many cases alien to ours in the modern West, Simon Bastian presents a new way of composing and reading the hexagrams whilst maintaining the standard definitions. This simplified ‘runic’ system can provide access to familiarising oneself with the oracle and, as an introduction, makes it easier to employ the traditional longer methods of interpretation. Simon has used source material from Glastonbury – a centre of spiritual and magical activity – to form a tangible and hopefully relevant production akin to runes (the alphabet/divinatory system that probably originated with the Germanic tribes).

The aim is to provide a gentle cultural blending, rather than collision, by retaining the core value of the I Ching’s philosophy and symbolic attributions.

Please note that you are purchasing the booklet only. This title is also sold with a set of companion discs exclusively through The Wild Hunt in Glastonbury.

The Mirror of Elicona is a grimoire in the form of magical biography.

The Mirror of Elicona
by Phil Legard
12 pages.

The Mirror of Elicona is a grimoire in the form of magical biography: a personal reflection on a series of encounters with a spirit who was, up until the close of the early modern period, perhaps frequently called upon by the magicians and cunning folk of the British Isles. The purpose of this Mirror is not only to make a small contribution to the development and appreciation of what might be called ‘proto- Goetic’ magic, but also to share something of the author’s own magical practice, which in the last decade has moved significantly away from ritualism to a more subtle appreciation and engagement with the spiritual hierarchies around us.

16 pages.

Within the hoodoo system St. Martha is known as The Dominator – she is called upon for acts of domination over an individual – specifically bosses and lovers. She can be called on in “aggressive” love magic, where a little extra persuasion is needed, as well as in commanding and compelling work. This Guide describes the symbols and history of the Saint and explains how to work with her in the Hoodoo tradition.

by Derik S. Richards
12pp.

The mysterious name “IAO” has for centuries been a ubiquitous feature of magical traditions. Many modern systems ascribe this name to Tiphareth and the solar mysteries. However, in the Ogdoadic Tradition of High Magick this name is employed as the divine name of the Moon-sphere, Yesod. The Lunar Formula of IAO discusses the practical magical application of this elusive formula, presenting never-before published keys thereto. While this guide conducts its survey within the milieu of the Ogdoadic Tradition, and provides a brief introduction to the Ogdoadic mysteries as a whole, it will also prove valuable to initiates and students of other traditions of the Magical Art who may find herein a resonance with their own Work.

The Book of Lambspring is a series of emblematic images through which the processes of Hermetic Alchemy are alluded to; it has proven completely impenetrable to the un-initiated, which has been the case for all of the true Alchemical texts. In this small manuscript, Christopher Bradford takes each of the emblems from The Book of Lambspring and speaks with them. The Alchemical wisdom held within will shine from it and enlighten the aspiring Alchemist, while hopefully leading the practiced Alchemist down well-trodden paths of wisdom.
